Who we are

16 Types Battle (“the app”) is published by Bearapp Limited. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The same document is published at https://www.bearapplimited.com/16types-privacy-policy.

What we collect

Account data: email address if you sign up with email, and the name or identifier Apple or Google share when you use those buttons. We store a user ID, your chosen four-letter type, and your display handle.

Play data: match results you generate in the app, challenge links you create, and which question packs you unlock.

Purchases: App Store or Play product identifiers and entitlements (Premium and question packs) so we can restore what you bought. We do not receive your full card number. Apple or Google process the payment.

Device and diagnostics: crash and performance data if Sentry is configured in that build. We do not ask Sentry to send extra personal identifiers.

Photos: only if you save a verdict card. The image is written to your photo library on device. We do not upload that image to our servers.

Advertising: if you play on the free plan, Google AdMob may load a rewarded ad. AdMob can collect device advertising data under Google’s own policy. You can decline tracking on iOS; the app still works with non-personalized ads.

Why we use it

To sign you in, keep your fighter profile, run matches, restore purchases, show ads on the free plan, fix crashes, and comply with App Store and Play rules. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Supabase hosts accounts and the fighter profile. RevenueCat checks Premium and pack entitlements with Apple or Google. Google (AdMob, and Google Sign-In if you use it) and Apple (Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchase) process data as independent controllers for their products. Sentry receives crash reports when a DSN is set. Bearapp Limited staff can access account records only to operate the service or meet a legal request.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account until you delete it or we must retain a record for law or dispute handling. In Settings, choose Delete account to remove your 16 Types Battle profile and sign-in from our systems. Purchases remain on your Apple or Google account and can be restored if you create a new login with the same store account. You can also email support@bearapplimited.com.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal data, or object to certain processing. Use Delete account in Settings or email support@bearapplimited.com. You can also use the privacy tools in your Apple, Google, or device settings for ads and sign-in.

Changes and contact
