2. What we collect

  • Account information — your email address and an ecrypted password, collected when you register.

  • Reading progress — which chapters you have read and your quiz scores, stored on our servers and linked to your account.

  • Purchase information — processed by Apple App Store or Google Play via RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment card details.

  • Device & usage data — RevenueCat and the app stores may collect anonymised crash and usage data under their own privacy policies.

3. What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any other personal data beyond what is listed above.

4. How we use your data

  • To authenticate you and sync your progress across devices.

  • To verify and restore your one-time premium purchase.

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third parties, except as required to operate the service (RevenueCat for purchases).

5. Data retention

Your account and progress data are retained for as long as your account exists. You may request deletion by emailing support@bearapplimited.com, and we will delete your data within 30 days.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (cost factor 12) and never stored in plain text. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Tokens are stored in the device's secure keychain.

7. Children

Little Stoic is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@bearapplimited.com to exercise these rights.

9. Changes

We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
