Privacy policy

Parent account and access

A parent or guardian signs in using an email address and password or a supported Apple or Google account. Clerk processes account credentials, email verification and password resets. We use the account identifier to protect family information and connect signed-in devices. Family members who join using an invite code can see the family's shared learning records.

Family and learning records

Children's names, grades and profile colours, family membership, session summaries and exercise results are saved on your device and synced to our server when linked to a family, so signed-in family members can share progress. Some settings, generated practice and badge progress remain on the device. We use these records to provide family features and weekly summaries.

AI homework help

Questions, any selected or photographed homework image, and related learning context are sent through our server to OpenAI to generate explanations and practice. Our app does not save the original homework photos on its server. Text conversation history is stored on our server so you can resume chats. Avoid including unnecessary personal information in questions or photos.

Subscriptions and service providers

RevenueCat processes subscription status and purchase information to associate entitlements with the signed-in parent account. The store where you buy (Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable) processes payment under its own terms and privacy policy. Clerk handles authentication, OpenAI processes submitted homework content, and our hosting provider runs the app and server. When error reporting is enabled, Sentry receives technical crash and error information; homework content, photos and account details are excluded. These providers process information needed to provide their respective services. We do not run ads or use a behavioural analytics SDK; web sign-in may use necessary authentication cookies.

Optional weekly notifications

If you enable weekly digests, we store your device's Expo push token, family and language preferences. We send learning summaries through Expo's push service; a notification can show a child's name, question counts, accuracy and focus areas on the lock screen. You can turn off the digest in the app.

Access and deletion

You can permanently delete a child's profile, learning sessions and exercise results in the Profile tab. Generated practice linked to that child is removed from this device; other linked devices update after reconnecting. AI conversations verified as belonging to the child are erased with their messages across family accounts when the deletion reaches the server. Older chats without an unambiguous child link are not included in child-profile deletion; to review or request deletion of those, or other account data, contact Bearapp Limited at support@bearapplimited.com. When a parent account is deleted, its membership and private AI chats are removed. Shared child profiles and study records remain available to other parent accounts in the family; if it is the family's last parent account, the shared child and study records are erased instead. Service providers may retain information they have processed according to their own privacy policies and retention practices, so deleting information from BusyBee does not necessarily delete provider-held copies.

Children and contact

BusyBee is designed for children aged 6–12 under a parent or guardian's supervision. Parents should review what a child shares with AI and whether to enable notifications. For questions about privacy or your family's information, contact support@bearapplimited.com.

AI 功課協助

問題、您選取或拍攝的功課圖片及相關學習內容會經我們的伺服器傳送至 OpenAI，以生成解釋和練習。本應用程式不會在其伺服器上儲存原始功課照片。文字對話記錄會儲存在我們的伺服器，方便繼續對話。請避免在問題或照片中包含不必要的個人資料。

訂閱及服務供應商

RevenueCat 會處理訂閱狀態及購買資訊，以便將使用權連結至已登入的家長帳戶。購買時使用的商店（視乎情況為 Apple App Store 或 Google Play）會根據其條款及私隱政策處理付款。Clerk 負責認證、OpenAI 處理提交的功課內容，而託管服務供應商運行應用程式及伺服器。啟用錯誤回報時，Sentry 會接收技術性崩潰及錯誤資料；功課內容、照片和帳戶資料不會傳送。這些供應商會處理提供各自服務所需的資料。我們不刊登廣告，也不使用行為分析 SDK；網頁登入可能使用必要的認證 Cookie。

可選的每週通知

如您啟用每週學習摘要，我們會儲存裝置的 Expo 推播識別碼、家庭及語言偏好。學習摘要透過 Expo 推播服務傳送；通知可能在鎖定畫面顯示子女姓名、題目數目、正確率及需要加強的範疇。您可在應用程式內關閉摘要。

查閱及刪除

您可在「個人資料」標籤永久刪除子女檔案、學習時段及練習成績。與該子女相關的已生成練習會從此裝置移除；其他已連結裝置重新連線後會同步更新。經核實屬於該子女的 AI 對話及訊息會在刪除同步至伺服器後，從所有家庭成員帳戶清除。刪除子女檔案時，無法明確對應子女的舊對話不會一併刪除；如需查閱或要求刪除這些對話或其他帳戶資料，請聯絡 Bearapp Limited：support@bearapplimited.com。刪除家長帳戶時，該帳戶的家庭成員資格及私人 AI 對話會移除。如家庭仍有其他家長帳戶，共享的子女檔案及學習記錄會保留；如該帳戶是家庭最後一個家長帳戶，則會一併刪除共享的子女及學習記錄。服務供應商可能會根據其私隱政策及資料保留做法，保留已處理的資料；因此，從 BusyBee 刪除資料不一定會同時刪除供應商持有的副本。

兒童及聯絡方法

BusyBee 專為 6 至 12 歲兒童設計，須在家長或監護人監督下使用。家長應檢查子女提交給 AI 的內容，並決定是否啟用通知。如對私隱或家庭資料有疑問，請聯絡 support@bearapplimited.com。
